Lawyers could often use specialist support but have too little time and too little trusted context to know who is right for them. Well-Advised makes it easier to discover advisers, understand how they think and learn alongside lawyers facing similar questions.
What we do
We bring lawyers and advisers together around practical work and wellbeing topics. Cohorts let you explore; Pods create a smaller, focused setting in which to apply what you learn with a clear rhythm and shared purpose.
Advisers can share useful ideas through Cohorts and Masterclasses, while Pod Sessions remain participatory. You can get to know an adviser’s approach before deciding whether further support is right for you.
The four words we use
- — Cohort: a free, open group around a question lawyers face, such as legal AI, business development, career progression or managing stress.
- — Pod: 3 to 9 lawyers who commit to five weeks around a shared focus, with adviser input where relevant.
- — Session: the weekly 30-minute meeting where a Pod plans and reports back.
- — Sprint: the work you do between Sessions.
How the community is run
Every Cohort and Pod runs under our Community Standards: respectful participation, confidentiality within the Pod, and telling the group when you cannot make a Session. Pods have a facilitator drawn from the membership, and members can propose new Cohorts and Pods — the ones people vote for get built.

What it costs
Membership and participation in your first Pod is free. Continued membership is £25pm or provided free to you by your firm ( email amanda@lawyerslounge.club for further details).

Who is behind it
Well-Advised is an independent, member-funded community for lawyers and advisers based in the UK. We keep groups deliberately small so conversations remain useful and human. If you would like to advise, facilitate, host a Masterclass or partner with us, get in touch.
