Community Standards
Well-Advised works because people show up as themselves and treat each other with respect. These standards set the tone for every Cohort, Pod and Session.
Respectful participation
Share honestly, listen fully, and challenge constructively. Disagreement is fine; disrespect is not.
Confidentiality
What is shared in a Pod stays in that Pod unless everyone agrees otherwise. Never disclose client identities, privileged material, confidential matter details or anything that could identify a client. This is a working norm, not a legal guarantee.
Advice and professional boundaries
Advisers must be clear about their role, qualifications and any commercial interest. General discussion in the community is not a substitute for advice based on your own circumstances, and no lawyer-client or other professional relationship is created here.
Attendance and commitment
A Pod relies on everyone showing up. If you cannot make a Session, tell the group as soon as you can. If you need to leave a Pod, let the facilitator know.
Unacceptable behaviour
Harassment, discrimination, promotion, spam, or any conduct that makes the space feel unsafe is not allowed. We may remove anyone who breaches these standards.
If a Pod is not working
Talk to the facilitator first. If that does not resolve it, contact the Well-Advised team. You can leave a Pod at any time without penalty.
Reporting
Email amanda@lawyerslounge.club to report a concern or ask for help. We will review and respond as quickly as we can.
